The BMW 325iX:
Only a few thousdand of these AWD cars were brought to the states from ‘88-’91. The limited slip, fully mechanical AWD system coupled with the legendary balance and handling of the e30, built of heavy gauge German steel, makes this car an ideal candidate for rally. Powered by a torquey and silky smooth 167 BHP 12V I6, it is not the fastest car on the road, but its bullet proof design makes it amazingly reliable. The top photo on the left is of the 1989 Rally Cross Car used to win the 2005 CRS Championship in the Modified AWD division.

The bottom photo is the chassis of the 1988 that is in the process of being prepped for stage rally. She doesn't look like much in the photo, but she is well on her way to becoming a 215 HP rally beast, dressed in white with red and blue stripes.
